Baker Tilly Boosts Digital Transformation Journey with the Appointment of John Kim Hongchan as Digital Solutions and Transformation Director

Singapore, 19 April 2023 – Baker Tilly announced today the appointment of John Kim Hongchan as Director, Digital Solutions and Transformation.
John Kim is a digital transformation specialist with over 18 years of combined experience in public and corporate accounting, as well as finance and tax technology implementation and process improvement, operating model design, technology roadmap design, and data modelling and warehousing. He was based in New York, NY and Washington, DC serving global firms in the financial services industry before relocating to Singapore in 2017.
John provides a wide range of services around clients’ digital transformation journey including the development and management of clients’ long-term finance transformation projects, onboarding of technology such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions for finance function, and data cleansing and preparation for various reporting packages. John also conducts training on business intelligence and process automation for finance and tax professionals using MS Power BI and UiPath.
John is a CPA (US) and graduated from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business with a double major in finance and accounting.
As the Digital Solutions and Transformation Director, John is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap to address our clients' operational challenges in the finance and tax function and identifying improvement opportunities within the existing technology and data environment, as well as within finance and tax processes.
