Breakfast Talk: Financial Reporting Insights for Charities

Baker Tilly Singapore recently hosted the "Breakfast Talk - Financial Reporting Insights for Charities" at our office, bringing together professionals and charity sector leaders for an insightful morning of discussion and learning.

Susan Foong, our Partner and Practice Leader for Assurance, provided insights on Singapore Financial Reporting Standard (FRS) 118 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements which will replace the existing FRS 1. FRS 118 is applicable for annual reporting periods beginning on or after 1 January 2027. 

Alongside guiding charities to prepare for the transition, our Executive Director for Corporate Solutions, Lee Lei Kun, and Director for Digital Solutions & Transformation, John Kim, were also at the talk to share useful bite-sized solutions for our clients to improve efficiency in their organisations and adopt modern technologies.
