Our Story

Baker Tilly's origins can be traced back to 1985 when Teo, Foong + Wong was founded. Transitional, historical name changes and mergers with various firms have brought us to where we are today. We arrived at Baker Tilly in 2005 when we joined the Baker Tilly International network. This long history gives us a rich heritage and defines our present.

Memorable Milestones

1985 - Teo, Foong + Wong founded.

2001 - Teo, Foong + Wong merges with LC Loong & Co (founded in 1954) to form TeoFoongWongLCLoong

2004 - Sim Guan Seng & Co merges with TeoFoongWongLCLoong

2005 - The firm joins the Baker Tilly International network

2010 - Sim Guan Seng takes over as managing partner from Foong Daw Ching

2019 - Joshua Ong succeeds Sim Guan Seng as managing partner
