Baker Tilly Bolsters Tax Services With Admission Of GST Partner

Singapore, 1 February 2019 – Baker Tilly is enhancing the depth of its tax services with the admission of GST partner, Yvonne Chua. An Accredited Tax Advisor with over 20 years of experience in GST, she will lead and build on the firm’s suite of GST advisory and compliance services.
Most recently responsible for setting up the GST team at her previous firm, Yvonne led business development initiatives, provided technical expertise, and built thought leadership through speaking engagements to establish the service line. Prior to her last role, she held the position of Senior Manager at PwC, where she advised clients on tax investigation cases and negotiated favourable outcomes with IRAS. Yvonne was also a core member of the team that developed the PwC GST tool. Furthermore, she possesses deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, having previously spent seven years at IRAS.
Yvonne has a proven track record in delivering on tax investigation and audit cases, cross border transactions, GST due diligence, the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) and GST reviews under the Assisted Self-Help Kit (ASK), across a variety of industries.
